The Light Modular Plate Carrier™
Low-profile, modular plate carrier built around mobility, adaptable equipment carriage, and armour integration. Constructed from 1000D laser-cut nylon with SAPI, ESAPI, and swimmer-cut plate compatibility, a skeletal quick-release cummerbund, detachable shoulder pads, and front/rear MOLLE.
The LMPC™ is the foundation of the MOD Tactical load-bearing system — streamlined on its own and configurable around the equipment your application requires.
Modular by Design
The LMPC™ is designed as a platform, not a fixed loadout. Laser-cut MOLLE across the front and rear provides a configurable base for magazine carriers, IFAK, communications, utility pouches, packs, and other compatible equipment.
Run a streamlined configuration when mobility is the priority or expand the carrier as your requirements change.
Plate Compatibility & Fit
Designed around common SAPI, ESAPI, and swimmer-cut armour profiles, the LMPC™ provides front and rear plate carriage within a compact, close-fitting platform.
An adjustable skeletal cummerbund secures the carrier around the body while reducing unnecessary material and bulk through the sides.
Plate fit depends on size, cut, geometry, and thickness. Confirm compatibility before use.
Quick-Release System
Quick-release hardware at the shoulders and cummerbund allows the carrier to be opened rapidly without repeatedly readjusting the fit. TPU pull tabs provide a positive grab point when releasing the system.
Once configured, the LMPC™ can be opened, removed, and returned to the same general adjustment without rebuilding the carrier each time.
Shoulder & Cable Management
Detachable padded shoulder covers improve comfort under load while integrated routing channels provide a cleaner path for communications cables and hydration lines.
The shoulder system can be configured around the user and removed when a lower-profile setup is preferred.
Integrated Rear Platform
The rear of the LMPC™ provides laser-cut MOLLE for compatible pouches, hydration, and rear-mounted equipment.
For a more integrated system, pair the LMPC™ with the MOD-Tactical™ Carapace 1.0™, which can dock directly to the rear of the carrier for additional storage, hydration, and plate-shell capability without requiring a conventional standalone backpack configuration.
